Optometric Technician: Applicants must have a positive attitude, must be able to work quickly and efficiently according to protocol while ensuring patient satisfaction. The technician should enjoy working with patients, showing willingness to create a positive patient experience. Technicians will perform all pre-examination testing with accuracy and fluently explain the testing process for patient comprehension. The technician will not only pretest for routine exams but also conduct medical testing and work with other diagnostic equipment. This candidate should also be able to anticipate scheduling conflicts, proactively seek solutions to delays and provide a balance in patient flow. Applicants must be available to work 1 night per week as well as 1-2 Saturdays per month during our fall/winter schedule.
